Pial Khadilla is a public sector woman empowerment coach passionate about developing and nurturing young female talent to leadership positions in the public sector. She believes that the identification and nurturing of talent among women is critical for the future of global business and society in the 21st century. Her calling came when she went through a painful divorce and the experience did not just teach her many life lessons but exposed a flawed judicial system and regulatory environment. Today, Pial is on a mission to propagate a thousand female Societal Shapers in the public sector to push for meaningful and systemic change in the ASEAN region by 2030. It is hoped that with your insights and knowledge; together, we can bring about the changes much needed and become an inspiration to the listeners..

Thaera Yousef has recently completed her PhD in Media and Communications in 2019 and holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Leicester, UK. She has over twenty years of higher education experience in both teaching and management fields in leading universities. Her doctoral thesis examined the media representation of women in Malaysia.
Thaera’s passion is empowering women particularly in protecting women and girls from violence and gender inequality. As a volunteer, she actively delivered public education programmes on gender issues to secondary school students in peninsular Malaysia. She is currently writing a book on the representation of women in the Malaysian media on the issue of gender violence.

Khairun lobbied the UNFCCC negotiations as a climate youth activist in the past, practiced CSR in corporate Malaysia, founded an equal opportunity zero-waste social enterprise, and consulted high-profile corporate clients on future-proofing their businesses with PwC’s Southeast Asia Sustainability Consulting practice.
Khairun is also a 2016/2017 Chevening scholar with an MSc in Environment and Development from LSE, a Gen-T honouree 2020/2021 (announcement embargoed until October 2020), and a mentor for SUPER at the Incubation Network’s Plastic’s Data Challenge 2020.
Khairun believes that to have more people involved in solutions, decentralization is required.

Dr. Rabiathul Badariah Bazeer Ahmed, is a graduate from O. O. BOGOMOLETS National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine. Worked in sexual reproductive health and rights for more than 10 years.
Dr. Rabiah formerly worked at the Center of Excellence of Research in Aids, University Malaya and Federation of Reproductive Health Associations Malaysia. She is also a co-founder of RcseQ Initiatives (comprehensive sexuality education awareness and training).

Nuraizah Shamsul Baharin is the Managing Director of Madcat World, an innovative and unique technology company that develops mobile apps and produces meaningful content that enriches people’s lives. She graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Michigan and decided to be an entrepreneur after spending 8 years working as an engineer.
Nuraizah or Aizah is the current President for the Association of Bumiputra Women Entrepreneur Network of Malaysia (WENA), Malaysia’s leading network for women entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals.
In her free time, she enjoyed her journey as an entrepreneur and continue helping others as a coach with Cradle Investment Program (CIP) Catalyst and INSKEN.

Achieving all this won't seem that intimidating after seeing what people like Pushpa Preeya does for society.
Pushpa, 33 years old, is the Head of Women Empowerment at EvXprts Foundation and a TEDx speaker who is passionate about offering her services to the community and the needy people. She's also been writing exams for the specially-abled people for more than a decade, and her initiative has inspired people across the country.
Pushpa received the Nari Shakti Puraskar award for her outstanding work as a scriber from Narendra Modi, President of India.
In this episode, she speaks about how serving others gives her happiness, joy and keeps her going despite losing her father than her brother within such a short timespan not too long ago. I hope Pushpa’s courage and grit will inspire you.

Mazlan Binti Othman is a Malaysian Astrophysicist, known for her achievements in Space Science in her role as Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. Dr. Mazlan is the first woman to earn a Ph.D in physics since University of Otago was founded in 1869. She also performed research at Kiso Observatory in Japan for a semester.
Dr. Mazlan Othman was born in Seremban, Malaysia. After being awarded with a Colombo plan scholarship, she earned her BSc degree with honours at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1975. She worked at a university in Malaysia as a tutor before she returned to Otago to earn her Ph.D in physics in 1981.
After she returned to Malaysia, Mazlan Othman started a campaign to build awareness and foster understanding of astronomy. She was given the responsibility of the Prime Minister’s Department’s Planetarium Division and later on she became the Director of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, as appointed by Kofi Annan.
After her service, between 2010 and 2014, Othman was requested to return to Malaysia by the Prime Minister to work as the Director General of the National Space Agency of Malaysia. Her work here led to the first Malaysian astronaut being launched.
Throughout her career, Othman has extensively dealt with issues that involve the risks posed by near-earth asteroids, space debris collisions and space law between countries.
